How Lawrence Tetteh Influenced Shatta Wale’s Apology to Mahama

3 Min Read

Dr. Lawrence Tetteh, President of Worldwide Miracle Outreach, has detailed how Shatta Wale used him as a go-between to ask John Dramani Mahama for forgiveness.

He claimed that they saw John Dramani Mahama on the same flight that they were on to London.

He claimed that Shatta Wale came up to him and requested for assistance in pleading with the former President for having insulted him in the past.

Inspired by the plea, Dr. Lawrence Tetteh said he assisted Shatta Wale in apologising to the former President.

The Man of God stated that, in his opinion, it is past time for young people to learn to respect the old regardless of the situation.

“Numoo I threw certain words at President Mahama and I feel guilty to go to him. I said oh no. So I held his hands and I went to President John Mahama. This is not a secret, I can share the video with you. Then he said I’ve forgiven you. Then Shatta Wale went on his knees and was crying so I was so touched. That was the first time to have met Shatta Wale that he has not blown the thing on me.

We’d all like to see this. We all know how Shatta Wale is, but he humbled himself and asked President Mahama to pardon him. President Mahama said that he had, calling Shatta Wale a “bad boy” for bringing a whole man of God to come and harm him. What do you think I’ll say? I now admire Shatta Wale. Shatta Wale wrote me a message when we arrived in London, stating that he had been at a loss for how to approach this for the past four or five years.

Recall that Shatta Wale claimed John Dramani Mahama has nothing new to give the Ghanaian people in one of his social media live videos.

He used derogatory language to characterise the previous president in the aforementioned video, who allowed him to play at his farewell rally in 2016.
