I Aspired To Become A Pastor: Tonto Dikeh

Tonto Dikeh, a well-known Nigerian actress who is now a politician, has acknowledged that her childhood ambition was to become a preacher.

In the most recent episode of the podcast “With Chude,” she confessed this childhood aspiration of hers.

The actress also said that, depending on where God is guiding her, she might still finish up as a preacher.

Before pursuing a career in acting and entertainment, the 35-year-old actress claimed she had always been a “church girl” who aspired to serve as a minister of God.

The beautiful Nigerian actress stated as follows:

“I’m an opportunist with this thing called acting or entertainment. But God, has ordained that step already. For me, I was just swimming in a swimming pool,” she advocated.

“I mean, I was a church girl going to be a pastor. I was supposed to be a pastor, I still might be. Depending on where God is taking me to,” Tonto Dikeh added.

With numerous accolades and trophies to her name, the actress has made a name for herself in the Nigerian film business.

Tonte Ibraye, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for governor of Rivers state, recently chose Dikeh as his running mate.

Interestingly enough, the actress was nominated two years after she revealed her intent to enter politics in 2023.
