I didn’t become a muslim to please anyone: Akuapim Poloo shut downs critics

In response to questions regarding the reason for her abrupt conversion to Islam, Rosemond Brown, Akuapem Poloo has disclosed why she did so.

When Akuapem Poloo announced that she had converted to Islam, most of us were taken aback and wondered if it was because she was getting married to a Muslim or if there was some other reason we hadn’t yet learned.

Akuapem Poloo addressed the issue in a video, asserting that she is confident in her decision to convert to Islam and that no one put pressure on her to do so since she has long admired the Islamic faith.

She continued by saying that her kid is a Muslim because his father is one, which begs the question of whether this had any bearing on her choice to convert to Islam or whether, as she said, she had always liked the faith and had done so for no other reason than that she did.

Then, Akuapem Poloo cautioned us to use caution when discussing her conversion for fear of repercussions.
