Idrissa Akuna Elba, a British Ghanaian actor, paid a courtesy call to Ghana’s President, Akufo Addo.
The actor who visited the President discussed his plans to shoot a new film in Ghana, and if this happens, it will be his second time shooting a film in the West African country since 2015, when he shot Beast of No Nation.

He assured the president that he would help push the Ghana film industry to the forefront by establishing a film school and fine-tuning the country’s film policies in his honor.
A vibrant and robust film industry, according to Idris Elba, begins at the policy level. He stated that countries such as South Africa, Europe, Greece, and Morocco have invested in policies because they understand the monetary value of the film industry.
