Finally speaking out, Akwaboah, a beloved Highlife performer in Ghana, has shared his reasons for marrying someone other than his birth mother. 

In a recent interview with Delay, Akwaboah disclosed that he was not at ease when dating his baby mom. He continued by saying that he had no desire to have several baby mamas while he was a young man growing up.

 But that’s what the situation compelled him to do. Akwaboah continued, saying that until he asked her to marry him, he had no idea that his bride was a virgin. He made it clear that her virginity had nothing to do with their marriage.

On Friday, May 3, 2024, Akwaboah Jr. and his partner Theresa were married in a vibrant ceremony. On Wednesday, May 1, the singer initially announced the news of their marriage in an Instagram post. 

On Friday, May 3, the couple celebrated their conventional marriage, and the following day, they had a white wedding. 

The musician shared photos from the customary ceremony on his Facebook, in which Mrs. Akwaboah looked stunning in a vibrant corseted kente gown.

It was a gorgeously patterned hand-beaded gown in shades of red, blue, and yellow. Additionally, photos from their white wedding are already gaining popularity.
