Kwame Baffoe Abronye, commonly known as Abronye DC, has urged Ghanaians not to spare anyone who threatens a coup.
Anyone threatening to stage a coup, he declared, is a state adversary who must be removed.
By suggesting this, the NPP veteran also incited Ghanaians to shoot and kill anyone who attempts to plot a coup.

He said:” I am therefore ready to shoot anyone with the idea of taking the country back to coup days. Thus, to protect and defend mother Ghana”.
People perished in coups decades ago, he claims, and families were wiped off.
He emphasized saying: “During the coup days, people were murdered in cold blood. Married women were raped and robbed while innocent souls were killed.”
On “Dwene ho bio” on Hot FM in Accra, Abronye DC also commented on the arrest of Mr. Barker Vormawor, who has threatened to stage a coup if the controversial Electronic Levy (E-levy) is passed.
Abronye DC explained that the capacity to stage a coup is not only by the military but by any form of support, either financially or physically, by ordinary people.
He continued by saying that: “Mr.Barker was a presidential employee during the Mahama administration. And he may have connections with people who may readily support his agenda against the Akufo-Addo government.”
The 1992 constitution, according to the DC, protects citizens who will fight coup plotters to the death in order to defend and protect the country.
