Franky Venegas, one half of the viral TikTok duo Island Boys, has been arrested in Florida on serious charges, including gun and drug offenses.
Venegas, 22, was taken into custody on Sunday night and booked into Collier County Jail in Naples, Florida.
Police records show that he faces charges of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, as well as possession and altering a firearm with an altered serial number.
The arrest occurred after a deputy in an unmarked unit stopped a yellow Corvette for running a stop sign while exiting a gas station.
The vehicle’s license plate tags were expired, though the registration was valid. Venegas was the passenger in the car, which was driven by a woman. Both individuals were asked to exit the vehicle.
Upon searching the car, authorities found a plastic bag containing suspected Oxycodone pills on the passenger-side floorboard.

The bag held seven Oxycodone 10mg pills and five Oxycodone and Acetaminophen pills. Venegas denied ownership of the drugs but claimed he had a prescription, which he could not provide.
Further investigation revealed a brown handbag with “MGM” on it, found on the passenger-side floor.

Inside the bag was a handgun with no serial number, along with a plastic cut straw and credit cards bearing Venegas’ name. A cut straw containing white powdery residue was also discovered in the car’s center console.
The police report labeled Venegas as a “documented gang member/associate,” adding further gravity to the situation.
Franky Venegas, who goes by Kodiyakredd, gained viral fame in 2021 alongside his twin brother, Alex, with the hit song “I’m an Island Boy,” which helped propel them to TikTok stardom.
Venegas has a history of prior arrests, including for domestic battery, reckless driving, and operating a motor vehicle without a license.
