Israeli airstrikes kill 558 people in Gaza

Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip have resulted in a tragic loss of life, with the Palestinian Health Ministry reporting that over 558 people have lost their lives.

Additionally, more than 65 individuals have been newly confirmed as casualties, raising the overall count. Shockingly, over 2,800 individuals have been injured in these attacks.

These airstrikes were launched by Israel in response to a significant assault by the Palestinian organization Hamas, which governs the Gaza Strip.

The conflict has resulted in a devastating toll, with approximately 700 people losing their lives in Israel, and around 2,400 others suffering injuries. This represents one of the most significant instances of civilian casualties in Israeli history.

Furthermore, the situation has taken a distressing turn with more than 100 Israelis being taken hostage in the Gaza Strip. Tragically, Hamas has reported that four hostages lost their lives due to Israeli air raids.
