JAY-Z’s lawyer, Alex Spiro, has strongly denied allegations that the rap mogul and Diddy were involved in the rape of a 13-year-old girl following the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards.

Speaking at Roc Nation’s headquarters in New York on December 17, Spiro rejected the claims made in the anonymous woman’s lawsuit, presenting a series of counterarguments and evidence to discredit her story.

The woman’s lawsuit accused JAY-Z and Diddy of raping her after the awards show, but Spiro presented evidence suggesting the alleged event could not have happened.

He showed photos of JAY-Z attending a different event than the one described by the accuser and pointed out that none of Diddy’s properties at the time matched the location described in the lawsuit.

“There is no such location,” Spiro said. “We don’t know if they created a false location just to try to bring the case to New York.”

Spiro also questioned the timeline presented by the woman in her lawsuit, arguing that it was impossible for the events to unfold as she described.

The woman claimed she was driven to an afterparty, sexually assaulted, and then fled to a nearby gas station to be picked up by her father, who was allegedly five hours away.

Spiro argued that the timing of these events was not feasible, adding, “These are not minor inconsistencies… it’s not possible this could happen.”

The accuser also claimed she watched the VMAs on a jumbotron outside Radio City Music Hall, but Spiro pointed out that no jumbotron existed that year.

Additionally, the streets around the venue were heavily blocked off during Eminem’s famous performance, making it highly unlikely she could have reached Diddy’s limousine.

Spiro also denied the accusation that JAY-Z and Diddy had a close personal relationship.

Despite photos and videos over the years showing the two rappers supporting each other at various events, Spiro emphasized, “Mr. Carter has nothing to do with Mr. Combs’ case or Mr. Combs.

They knew each other professionally for many years.”

The lawyer expressed that JAY-Z was deeply upset by the false allegations, which he said distract from real victims of abuse. “He’s upset that somebody would be allowed to make a mockery of the system,” Spiro said.

In response to the lawyer’s press conference, the woman’s lawyer, Tony Buzbee, stated that “courts resolve factual disputes, not press conferences.”

The accuser also recently admitted in an NBC interview that she had made “some mistakes” in recalling the events of that night.

JAY-Z’s legal team remains firm that the claims are fabricated, with the rapper issuing a statement calling the lawsuit a “false complaint.” “True Justice is coming,” JAY-Z stated. “We fight FROM victory, not FOR victory.”
