Celebrated English guitarist, Jeff Beck of Jeff Beck Group has been confirmed dead.
Jeff passed away on Tuesday (January 10, 2023). His death occurred at a hospital which is near Riverhall.
The news of his death was confirmed on social media via an official statement released on his pages on Wednesday.
Jeff Beck is Dead: He was 78-yrars old, and his family is however asking for privacy so they can mourn the passing away of their beloved.

Jeff Beck Cause of Death
According to the released statement, It was revealed that Jeff Beck died from bacterial meningitis.

“On behalf of his family, it is with deep and profound sadness that we share the news of Jeff Beck’s passing,” the statement said.
“After suddenly contracting bacterial meningitis, he peacefully passed away yesterday. His family ask for privacy while they process this tremendous loss.” The statement read.
Singer Paul Young added in a post on Twitter: “He was loved by everyone in the know; the guitarists’ guitarist!”
Musicians began paying tribute minutes after the news broke. Gene Simmons called it “heartbreaking news … no one played guitar like Jeff. Please get ahold of the first two Jeff Beck Group albums and behold greatness. RIP.”
Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi wrote that he was “totally shocked”. “Jeff was such a nice person and an outstanding iconic, genius guitar player – there will never be another Jeff Beck. His playing was very special & distinctively brilliant! He will be missed,” he wrote on Twitter.
Beck was born Geoffrey Beck in 1944, in Wallington, south London. As a child, he sang in a church choir, and began playing guitar as a teenager, getting his first instrument after trying to dupe a music store in a hire-purchase scheme.
