Why Is Jesus Trending On Twitter?

Jesus is trending on Twitter because of a Nigerian singer, pastor, trumpeter and gospel songwriter who goes by the name Nathaniel Bassey.

Nathaniel Bassey on Tuesday took to his official Twitter handle and shared a post with a picture that had a white background and a text written on it in a red colour which says “JESUS”.

In his post, he humbly asked his followers and anyone seeing his post to use the image which has Jesus written on it as their profile picture and tween in the afternoon.

He wrote; “Can we Make this picture our profile picture and tweet at 12 noon? 🤷‍♂️.Let’s release this precious ointment over our land and nation. JESUS. 3 …..thy good ointments thy name is as ointment poured forth…” Songs of Solomon 1:3”.

Reason Jesus Is Trending

The reason Jesus is trending is due to the recent happenings in the west African Country, Nigeria, it will be recalled that in our post published on Sunday we announced that there has been a terrorist attack at a church in Nigeria leaving many dead while some were injured and were hospitalized.

Nigeria Owo Church Attack: On Sunday, June 5th, 2022, while church service was underway, a group of armed men entered St Francis Catholic church in the town of Owo fired shots, and also kidnapped a priest as well as some church members.

This and other recent happenings in the country happen to be the reason for Jesus’ trend on Twitter started by Nathaniel Bassey as a form of prayer to God to help heal the land from all sort of evil bondages and return it to normal.
