Dortmund sign Jobe Bellingham from Sunderland on five-year deal

It is now confirmed and official as Sunderland’s Jobe Bellingham has completed his transfer to Borussia Dortmund on a 5-year deal which expires in July 2030.

The German club confirmed the news on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, ahead of the upcoming Club World Cup tournament. This also comes five years after the club signed his elder brother, Jude.

“Welcome to Dortmund, Jobe! The 19-year-old England U21 international joins on a five-year deal and will wear number 77 at the FIFA Club World Cup,” the club wrote on their official X account.
