John Dumelo, the opposition National Democratic Congress [NDC] parliamentary candidate for Ayawaso West Wuogon, has given lighting and motorcycles to the University of Ghana, Legon’s Security Department. On Tuesday, May 28, 2024,
Mr. Dumelo personally made the contribution. John Dumelo wrote on X on Wednesday, May 29, expressing optimism that this donation would aid in the fight against phone snatching and small-time robberies on the UPSA and Legon campuses.
“I gave two brand-new motorcycles and streetlights to the University of Ghana’s security department yesterday.” He remarked “I’m hoping that this thoughtful act will help them fight against instances of petty thievery and phone snatching on the Legon and Upsa campuses. It is necessary to protect the students. He continued.
