In an emotional moment on Sherri on Wednesday, March 19, Jonathan Majors, 35, confirmed that he has secretly married actress Meagan Good, 43.
The Creed III star teared up while discussing his love for Good and the intimate ceremony that marked the beginning of their new chapter together.
During the interview, host Sherri Shepherd, 57, expressed surprise after hearing reports that Majors had tied the knot with Good on Tuesday, March 18. Majors confirmed the news, visibly moved as he shared, “I said to Meagan yesterday, I said, ‘Today might be the happiest day of my life.’ I love that woman so much.”
He continued, with tears in his eyes, “We fell in love. We finally got to do it, but it was always the plan.”
The actor shared details of the heartfelt ceremony, revealing that he had received his father-in-law’s blessing before proposing to Good. “I asked her father for permission… and he said, ‘That’s cool,'” Majors recalled, adding that the moment was part of a long-planned journey for the couple.

In a touching family moment, Majors’ mother, a pastor, officiated the ceremony. “My mother came from Dallas, where I’m from, to officiate,” Majors said. “My mother had never been to one of my screenings, and we told her, ‘Hey, we’re going to do this thing.’ And we did.”
He also revealed that the couple had their wedding rings engraved in Hawaii, after another heartfelt conversation with Good’s father.
