Julia Fox has opened up about her brief romance with Kanye West, expressing regret over their relationship and calling it one of the most uncomfortable times in her life.
In an interview with The Times, the actress and former dominatrix shared her feelings about the high-profile coupling, which began in late 2021 and ended shortly thereafter.
Fox revealed that she wanted to keep their relationship low-key, but it quickly became public without her consent. “I think I was being used as a pawn,” she said, reflecting on the dynamics of their relationship.
She confirmed that West was the “artist” she referenced in her memoir, Down the Drain, stating he even picked out her outfits, offered to pay for cosmetic surgery, and requested her to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
The actress described the relationship as putting her in “the most uncomfortable position in my life, and that’s saying a lot.”
She emphasized that she doesn’t want to be remembered simply as someone’s girlfriend.

As of now, attempts to reach Kanye West for comment on Fox’s remarks have gone unanswered.
