Kanye West Threatens Legal “War” with Kim Kardashian Over North’s Song Feature

In a dramatic new twist to their ongoing public feud, Kanye West has threatened to go to war with his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, over the release of a new song that features their 11-year-old daughter, North West.

The rapper’s latest social media rant on Saturday sparked controversy, as it included the debut of the track titled LONELY ROADS STILL GO TO SUNSHINE, which also features embattled music mogul Sean DiddyCombs.

The song, which opens with Diddy’s voice thanking West for his support amid the latter’s ongoing legal issues, includes a brief appearance by North, where she raps, “When you see me shining, then you see the light.”

The collaboration, however, has upset Kardashian, who reportedly tried to prevent the release of the track by sending cease-and-desist letters and even requesting an emergency hearing.

Despite these efforts, the song was released, prompting West to escalate the situation. The rapper later posted (and then deleted) screenshots of a tense text exchange with Kardashian, where he threatened, “Amend it or I’m going to war.”

In response, Kardashian, an aspiring lawyer, reportedly emphasized that she holds the copyright to their daughter’s name and had taken legal action to protect North from being involved in the track.

Sources close to the situation say that North had recently joined West in the studio and recorded her vocals for the song, which West had promised would mark the revival of his Sunday Service project.

Kim, however, has expressed deep concern over her children’s involvement in such public matters, especially considering the ongoing legal issues surrounding Diddy.

Combs is facing multiple court cases, including charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and prostitution, with his trial set to begin in May 2025.

As tensions rise, Kardashian is reportedly doing “whatever it takes to protect her kids” from what she describes as “hateful speech” from West, who continues to draw attention with his volatile public persona.

The drama between the former couple, who share four children, seems to have reached a new level of intensity, with both sides gearing up for what could be a protracted legal battle.
