Kasoa Cop Killers Remanded | Townflex

Killers of the two policemen that were shot at Budumburam (Liberia Camp) inside Kasoa last week have been remanded by a Kaneshie District Court.

The three suspects have been charged with Eric Kojo Duah, Amissah Isaac and Zakariah Ibrahim have been charged with four counts: murder, conspiracy to commit murder and abatemen.

The Killers were remanded into BNI custody, the rest Mensah Isaac, Oblitey Commey, Victor Yire and Fatau Ahmed have been detained at the police cells at Osu.

According to the state’s prosecution team, investigations have just commenced hence investigators are at the stage where they will be required to have regular contacts with the accused persons.

The prosecutor has, therefore, requested that the suspects are remanded into a facility that is close to where they could have easy access to the suspects.

The court presided over by Rosemond Dodua Agyiri has, therefore, granted the plea by the prosecutor.

The Kasoa main suspect, Eric Dua together with Isaac Mensah and Ibrahim Zakaria, has been sent into a Beareu of National Investigations (BNI) cells while the remaining three will be kept in a Criminal Investigations Department (CID) custody at Osu.

The case has therefore been adjourned to September 26, 2019.
