Former student and signed artiste under Stonebwoy’s music label, Kelvyn Boy finally speaks on why he cut of his dreadlocks.
Well, very sure most of you guys out there have seen photos and videos of the creative Ghanaian Afrobeats singer who no longer has dreads on but rather having a normal and a descent, haircut after he decided to take them off.
Well, speaking with Andy Dosty in an interview on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz show, the Down Flat singer dished out the reasons leading to him cutting the dreadlocks off to look normal.

Reason Why Kelvyn Boy Did Dreadlocks
According to him, he grew dreadlocks because of Stonebwoy.
When asked if he had wanted to get rid of the dreads back then while still working under Stonebwoy, he said at that time, he wanted to look like stonebwoy and also wanted to sound like him because he was looking up to him.
Why Kelvyn Cut Off Dreadlocks
When asked as to why he cut off the dreads, the singer said he just felt like it, he woke up one day and just decided to take it off.
He dislcosed that most of his peers, and team members tried their very best to stop him from taking it off but that was what he wanted, and that he will always do what he feels, unless he does it and goes wrong.
Kelvyn Boy who took it off before the release of his global hit song, Down Flat added that he felt really good after his decision, and people also liked his new look so he has no regret of doing it.
Kelvyn Boy is making it big with the release of hus smash hit, Down Flat, and he just released the remix version of tge song a while ago, and its really doing well in the market Topping charts both locally and globally.
