Kendrick Lamar’s performance at Super Bowl LIX has officially set a new record, becoming the most-watched halftime show of all time.
According to announcements from Roc Nation, Apple Music, and the NFL, the performance reached an astonishing 133.5 million viewers, surpassing the previous record held by Michael Jackson’s legendary 1993 performance, which garnered 133.4 million viewers.
Lamar’s halftime show even outpaced the Big Game itself, which had an average viewership of 126 million, as reported by Fox Sports.
The Philadelphia Eagles triumphed over the Kansas City Chiefs in the highly anticipated game, with the Eagles securing a 40-22 victory.

This year’s halftime show was historic for another reason: Lamar became the first solo rapper to headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show, making it a cultural milestone.
