Ghanaian highlife and afrobeat singer-songwriter-producer, KiDi won big in the just ended 5th edition of the #Music Awards 2022.
The 2022 edition of the award ceremony came off on Saturday, 26th March 2022 at the Accra International Conference Center with a lot of fireworks from artistes that rocked the stage.
The 3 Music Award is a Ghanaian music awards ceremony held annually since 2018 to celebrate Ghanaian music. It was established by the 3music Network with Media General TV3 as broadcasters.
KiDi who is signed under the Lynx Entertainment record label born with his legal name as Dennis Nana Dwamena took home five awards at Saturday night’s award ceremony which includes winning the ultimate which is the Artiste Of The Year award.
KiDi wins Artiste Of The Year at 3Music Awards 2022: Winning the award for the artiste of the year in the 2022 edition of 3Music marks the second consecutive time the singer is winning the said award in the particular category as he also won it last year in 2021.
KiDi winning the Artiste Of The Year category also won four other categories summing all up to five wins, the other categories include; Reggae Dancehall Song Of The Year, Digital Act Of The Year, Best Male Vocal Performance (Technical), and also Album Of The Year (Technical Award).
In the Artiste Of The Year Category, KiDi managed ro beats the likes of label mate, Kuami Eugene, Mr. Drew, Sarkodie, Gyakie, Stonebwoy, Black Sherif, Celestine Donkor, D-Black, and then Limit.
