Award-winning Ghanaian highlife singer and record producer, Dennis Nana Dwamena best known as KiDi of Lynx entertainment explains why King Promise’s verse was taken off his hit song ‘Enjoyment’.
According to KiDi his 2020 released song was supposed to feature King Promise but that did not happy following a request from Promise’s management team, Legacy Life Entertainment to delete his verse from the song.
KiDi spoke about this on UTV’s United Showbiz show which aired live on Saturday night, October 30th, 2021, hosted by Abeiku Santana.

However, it would be recalled that King Promise in an interview in 2020 on Radio Central’s Amansan Krakye, King Promise disclosed spoke the same issue and revealed all that happened between his management and that of KiDi’s ‘Lynx Entertainment’.

According to Promise, there was a problem with the song, and his management team couldn’t reach an agreement with KiDi’s Lynx Entertainment which resulted in a misunderstanding. He added that he will always support KiDi whenever he is called onto.
“There was an issue with the song, and there was a lot of back and forth because I know the ‘third party’ and I know Lynx”. So to make peace with both parties, my management team asked that my verse to be pulled down.
“I knew the song will be a hit song, and will always support him anytime am called to, because I have no issues with him” – King Promise said.
KiDi speaking with Abeiku Santana during the United Showbiz interview disclosed that even though that happened, he believes that everything happens for a reason.
He also added that he still has a smooth relationship with King Promise despite all that happened.
The official music video for KiDi’s ‘Enjoyment’ hit song which was released in 2020 has so far garnered over 7 million views on American video streaming platform YouTube.
