King Promise Replies CEO of 3Music, Sadiq After Banning Promise For Disrespectinh Him

Ghanaian highlife and afrobeats singer-songwriter, King Promise has finally reacted to claims by, CEO of 3Music, Baba Sadiq that he has blacklisted Promise for disrespecting him.

It would be recalled that some few weeks past, the Chief Executive Officer of 3 Music Network, Baba Sadiq announced that he has blacklisted Ghanaian singer and songwriter, King Promise and his works from being aired on his network.

According to Sadiq who to took to social media to make the announcement, henceforth he will no longer be involved in any dealing with the talented singer, and there will never be a chance where he will ever be putting singer, King Promise on any of his upcoming shows, he also revealed that none of his music videos will be aired on his Television station.

The Legacy Life Entertainment signed singer, King Promise, born with his legal name as Gregory Bortey Newman was booked to perform at Sadiq’s The Wildaland festival but he failed to show up for the event despite the agreements they had.

Sadiq claimed he was disrespected by Promise, and his management team led by Killbeatz who made it difficult for him to get a hold of Promise for the event.

Well, King Promise has finally reacted to Sadiq’s claims, he denied all claims made by the CEO of 3Music Network adding that there is nothing to warrant Sadiq’s punitive verdict.

He disclosed that he has done nothing wrong, he wanted to perform at the Wildaland festival but his team was not able to come to an agreement with Sadiq.

Promise, made this known in a recent interview on TV3’s “The Day Show” hosted by Berla Mundi.

King Promise Said

“I’m not hurt by what he did. When you have done something, then it gets to you, but I haven’t done anything. I was looking forward to performing at Wildaland. It looked beautiful, but we didn’t come to an agreement. Sadiq is a very integral part of the industry. I’ve known him even before I blew up. I have not spoken to him in a long time. The last time he came around, I didn’t know he had a problem with me,”

He continued below.

“I’m not about tearing down. We are already behind when it comes to a whole lot of stuff. So we can’t be promoting division. For me, I will never speak on anything. Some people know I won’t speak on anything. So they go ahead and say whatever they want to say,”.
