Kintampo-Tamale Highway Road Accident, 28 Persons Burnt To Death

We just woke up to another big tragic befallen the country Ghana as information reaching Townflex says 28 persons has been burnt to death in a car accident.

The accident occurred at Kawompe on the Kintampo-Tamale stretch of the highway in the Bono East region.

An eyewitness by name Wiafe Akenteng told Starr News that the accident which occurred on Monday morning, March 9 2020, involved a benz sprinter and Yutong buses. according to him, the sprinter drove into the lane of the Yutong bus causing the accident.

Reports gathered so far confirms that 28 bodies have been burnt beyond recognition, making it very hard to detect male and female bodie. Drivers for both vehicles died right on the spot.

There were no survivers in the Sprinter bus which carried 23 passengers, they burnt beyond recognition after it caught fire.

The Yutong bus also carried 11 passengers and out of which only six people survived and has been conveyed to receive treatment in the nearest hospital.
