Kylie Jenner is deeply mourning the loss of her close friend and hairstylist, Jesus Guerrero, who passed away unexpectedly at the age of 34 on February 23, 2025.
Guerrero, who was known for his work with A-list celebrities like Jenner and Jennifer Lopez, was a beloved figure in the beauty world.
In the days following the tragic news, Jenner shared her grief with her followers on social media, revealing the emotional toll the loss has taken on her.
On February 28, she posted a screenshot of a long FaceTime conversation with mutual friend and makeup artist Ariel Tejada.
The message accompanying the post read, “sleeping has been the hardest. I love you @makeupbyariel 🫂,” alongside a screenshot of their nearly 7.5-hour-long call. Tejada, in turn, shared the story on his profile, writing, “I love you so much🥺🤍.”
Jenner also posted a touching video of herself and Guerrero from a fun moment they shared together in the backseat of a car, with Leon Bridges’ song “River” playing in the background. The heartfelt tribute showed the deep bond between the two.
In a February 25 Instagram post, Jenner described Guerrero as “a light in my life, a source of laughter, comfort, love, and unwavering support.”

She recalled how Guerrero helped her through nearly a decade of her life, making even the most challenging days feel manageable.
“Thank you, Jesus, for always being there for me, for lifting me up, for being my friend,” she wrote.
“The pain of losing you is just unbearable and I don’t know how to move forward without you but I know great grief is born only of great love. And I loved you so much.”
Jenner also took steps to help Guerrero’s family during this difficult time. Guerrero’s sister, Gris, shared on their family’s GoFundMe page that Kylie generously offered to cover the funeral expenses.
Gris expressed the family’s deep gratitude for Kylie’s support, stating that they never expected to receive such assistance.
Sources close to Jenner confirmed that Jesus’ sudden death has been particularly hard on her. “She is shocked and very upset,” one insider said.
“Still, she’s doing everything she can to be supportive and aid his family, including financially.” The insider added that Jenner is focused on helping Guerrero’s family through this painful time, knowing how much harder it is for them to deal with both the emotional and financial aspects of his passing.
