Nigerian Actor, Leo Mezie Is Dead

Another sad news hits the Nigerian movie industry again, as one if its actors, Leo Mezie has been confirmed dead.

The popular Nollywood Actor, Leonard Chimezie Onyemachi, popularly known as Leo Mezie according to reports died on Saturday, May 14th 2022.

The actor who is dead at age 46 for some years now has been battling with Kidney disease, and it would be recalled that 4 years ago, he had a kidney transplant and just last week he had another Kidney transplant done for the second time.

Actor Leo Mezie Is Dead: the actor gave up the fight after he began to develop complications after having his second kidney transplant done last week.

The news of her death was revealed by colleague actress, Chioma Toplis, via her respective Instagram account.

She wrote; “Actor Leo Mezie is dead. He died on Saturday in Abuja while recovering from a kidney transplant. His corpse has been moved to Umuahia his hometown. RIP Leo.”

His death comes few weeks after the news of the death of another Nollywood veteran actor, David Osagie came to light.
