Lewandowski explains why he joined Barcelona after his eight year stay in Bavaria

Robert Lewandowski becomes the fourth Barcelona signing after the signing of Franck Kessie, Andreas Christensen and Raphinha.

Polish superstar’s has explained why his eight year stay in Bavaria has come to an end following his desire to leave Bayern earlier on in the summer and has decided to take a pay cut in order to the Catalan giant this summer.

The Polish who earned a net £200,000 a week has now accepted a £150,000 a week deal with Barcelona, 25 per cent pay cut according to Spanish news outlet AS.

The former Borussia Dortmund striker is said to sign a three-year deal with the option to extend it for a further year and a transfer fee of €45 million in fixed payment, plus €5 million add-ons.
