Former One Direction singer Liam Payne’s cause of death has been revealed as multiple injuries sustained from a tragic fall in Buenos Aires.
Preliminary autopsy results indicate that he suffered from both internal and external hemorrhaging following his plunge from the third floor of the Casa Sur Hotel.
The 31-year-old British pop star fell into the hotel courtyard around 5 PM local time on October 16.
Forensic pathologists Santiago Maffia Bizzozero and Victor Roberto Cohen conducted the post-mortem examination, confirming the severity of his injuries, which included a fractured skull.

Alberto Crescenti, the director of the emergency medical response service SAME, stated that Payne was deceased upon the arrival of paramedics, who found his injuries.
Further tests are currently being conducted to determine if drugs or alcohol contributed to the circumstances surrounding his death.
Police are still investigating the exact details of the incident and have not yet established conclusive evidence regarding how the fall occurred.
The singer had been staying in a suite overlooking an interior pool and the hotel’s Michelin-star restaurant.
The patio area, where he landed, was closed to diners at the time of the incident, as the restaurant operates on limited hours.

Payne had traveled to Argentina earlier this month to attend a concert by his ex-bandmate Niall Horan.
His girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, had returned to Florida just two days before the tragedy.
Complicating matters, his ex-fiancée Maya Henry had reportedly sought legal action against him just prior to his death, claiming he had been in contact with her.
