After a brief conversation, Liam sent a snapshot of himself resting in bed with his hand pressed to his forehead. “Sorry just home x,” Jodie replied.

On Wednesday morning, just hours before his fatal fall, Liam messaged again, asking if Jodie was awake. Their exchange continued, with Liam telling her he was “chilling” in Argentina.
Tragically, it would be their last conversation.
Witnesses reported that Liam fell from the third-floor balcony of the CasaSur Hotel in Palermo, sustaining severe injuries, including a fractured skull. Emergency services confirmed that he died instantly from multiple injuries.
Jodie, devastated by the news, said she initially thought it was fake when she heard about Liam’s death. “I tried to phone him. Obviously, he wasn’t answering,” she recalled.
“It’s a wicked waste of a life. He had a future ahead of him.”

Authorities have indicated that Liam may have been alone when he fell, with no signs of third-party involvement.
Reports from the scene revealed a chaotic hotel room, with broken furniture and substances found, including what appeared to be narcotics.
As the world mourns the loss of the beloved singer, Jodie emphasized that Liam was in a good place mentally and excited about his future.
“He seemed happy and healthy,” she said, expressing her disbelief at the tragic turn of events. “It’s a real tragedy not only for us as friends and family but for everyone who knew him.”
