In a disturbing video shared on Instagram, Nigerian singer Lil Smart has accused his record label bosses, Naira Marley and Zinoleesky, of kidnapping and attempting to kill him.
The shocking claims come after an alleged attack that took place on Sunday, December 8, 2024.
Lil Smart, visibly shaken, detailed how he was allegedly abducted by Naira Marley and Zinoleesky, who took him to a remote area in the bush.
There, he claims, their associates—identified as “INN and MMP”—stripped him naked and attempted to break his legs using stones.
The artist said he managed to escape the horrifying situation and ran to a nearby express road in a desperate attempt to save himself.
In his video, Lil Smart showed visible bruises on his arms, legs, and face, with blood seeping from the injuries.
He also shared another clip, supposedly showing Zinoleesky chasing him down the road after he fled.
Adding to the gravity of the situation, Lil Smart revealed that he was the creator of the viral “Tesumole” dance for Naira Marley back in 2019, but now feels betrayed. H
e also shared a screenshot of a chilling message suggesting that his label intended to harm him, much like they did with the late Mohbad, a former artist under the same label who tragically died in 2023 after reportedly facing harassment and intimidation.

In his post, Lil Smart accused the record label of being “Apayan (killer) record rebel” and stated that he has photographic and video evidence to support his claims.
His accusations are stirring echoes of last year’s tragic events surrounding Mohbad’s death, with many fans and critics suspecting foul play linked to Naira Marley and his associates.
