LilWin says he lacks the funds to run in the 2024 elections

The actor Kwadwo Nkansah, better known by his stage name LilWin, has made the decision not to run in the December parliamentary elections. 

Lil Win had planned to run for the Ashanti region’s Afigya Kwabre North constituency, but he ultimately decided against it due to a lack of funding for his campaign. 

Lil Win revealed in a Hitz FM interview that he is delaying his political aspirations until 2028. The conversation was conducted during Daybreak Hitz.

He added that because of his ties to both parties, he is unable to run under the banners of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) or the New Patriotic Party (NPP). 

“I’m done arguing now. I’ll be running for office for the next four years. I’m holding out for that. I’m becoming self-sufficient. He said to Andy Dosty, “Similarly, I can’t join a political party because I love both parties and have friends everywhere.
