Bronze helped Olympique Lyonnais to its seventh UEFA Women’s Champions League title and its thirteenth Division 1 Feminine title from the right-back position. In return, she was crowned The Best FIFA Women’s Player of 2020 ahead of her ex-teammate at Lyon Wendie Renard and favorite to win the award Danish striker Pernille Harder. The Englishwoman dished out five assists across 21 games and was named the 2020 BBC Women’s Footballer of the Year.

After a successful 2020 season, Bronze was acquired by FA Women’s Super League side Manchester City.
