Kuami Eugene To Leave Lynx Entertainment In December [Watch Video]

Lynx Entertainment has responded to the circulating rumour about its signed artist, Kuami Eugene, leaving the label.

Well, I’m sure that many of you have heard the rumors that we even reported about some statements made by well-known media figures who claimed to have knowledge that Kuami had finished working with Lynx Entertainment and was getting ready to leave.

Fans of the singer and the label were very upset over this unproven piece of information online, and things only got worse after Kuami agreed to a new publishing contract with Empire.

Kuami Eugene is Not Leaving Lynx

Finally, Lynx replied and dispelled the rumors in a formal statement shared on its social media channels.

The vocalist of “Take Away,” Kuami Eugene, born legally as Eugene Kwame Marfo, is still a client of Lynx, according to the press release dated Thursday, November 3, 2022, signed by Richie Mensah, CEO of Lynx Entertainment.

Kuami has signed a new collaboration agreement with Empire, which was confirmed in their press release, to assist him broaden his horizons as he prepares to face the world while still working under Lynx.

The statement reads below.

“Lynx Entertainment is delighted to announce that it has inked a deal with EMPIRE to work on the project of one of Ghana’s most commercially successful acts, Kuami Eugene.

“This new strategic partnership will see the 2020 Ghana Music Awards ‘Artiste of the Year’ expand his horizons as he takes on the world with his music.

“Since 2021, Lynx Entertainment has been working closely with EMPIRE; a leading and innovative global label, distributor, and publisher in maximizing opportunities and value for its artistes.

“Kuami Eugene’s deal emphasizes the Ghana-based label’s trailblazing role in the African music industry since 2007.

“This pathbreaking alliance will aim at projecting the career of the talented and hardworking singer & songwriter on the international market.

“The coming weeks will see the BMI award-winner, Kuami Eugene, add up to his genre-bending repertoire begining with the release of his highly anticipated song titled ‘Single’.”

Kuami Eugene on Thursday morning released his first official single after signing the new deal with empire which titles ‘SINGLLE’.

The song which saw production from Kaumi himself and DJ Vyrusky was released accompanied with an official music video which was shot and directed by REX.
