Video: Lyrical Joe narrates reason behind beef with Ameraldo {See Why}

Lyrical Joe, who won the title of the best rapper at the last Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, has now explained how his bitter lyrical feud with Kumerican rapper Amerado came to be.

Following some recent diss songs they recorded that were meant at each other’s camp, the two rappers have kept social media buzzing.

During a recent Twitter Space Conversation with Kalyjay, Lyrical Joe discussed the origins of his conflict with Amerado.

He claimed that it all began when Amerado was named the 3Music Best Rapper of the Year and he aired his feelings over why his song was never named the winner in that category.

The musician claimed that even though Amerado received the award in place of him although his song met all of the requirements to be eligible when Amerado won the VGMA Rapper of the Year award, he released a song with Eno Barony, and parts of his lines appeared to be a jab at his supporters.

On the day Amerado was supposed to release his song “Obiaa Boa,” Lyrical Joe said he gave Kwadwo Sheldon an interview to respond to his outbursts.

Meanwhile, Amerado assumed that Lyrical Joe gave the interview on that day in order to derail the release of his music by drawing Ghanaians’ attention to himself.

Amerado thereby decided to make a true diss song for Lyrical Joe as a result of being upset by his response to his outbursts in Eno Barony’s song, and he dropped it on his birthday.
