Maccabi Tel Aviv secures the signing of young Ghanaian talent, Henry Addo

Henry Addo, a youthful attacker from Ghana, has signed a 1 million euro contract with Maccabi Tel Aviv from MSK Zilina in Slovakia.

With the signing of a 3.5-year contract, the 20-year-old forward committed to the Israeli team through the end of the 2026–2027 campaign.

180-cm-tall Addo had a good medical exam before agreeing to a contract.

He will play in the number 20 shirt for Maccabi and is anticipated to be a versatile forward who can fill a variety of positions.

Addo stated his delight about joining Maccabi Tel Aviv in a statement issued by the team, calling it “the biggest club in Israel and well known in Europe.”

He continued by saying he was excited to put in a lot of effort and help the club succeed.

Addo relocated to Slovakia in 2021 after earning his degree from the African Youth Academy in Zilina.

Having made 28 appearances in all competitions, he scored 7 goals, making an immediate impact on the first team.
