A 43-year-old man has appeared in court accused of having sex with a Shetland pony after allegedly breaking into a farm in Wiltshire.
Damion Ogeare, from Trowbridge, faces two charges related to the incident, which reportedly occurred at Maylands Farm on January 24 of the previous year.
Ogeare appeared at Salisbury Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing but did not formally accept or deny the charges. Instead, he spoke only to confirm his name.
The case was adjourned to give Ogeare more time to seek legal aid and prepare his defense. The next court date is scheduled for February 27.

Ogeare is accused of breaking into a stable that housed two Shetland ponies and engaging in sexual activity with a female pony named Cassieopia Wooley.
He is charged with one count of sexual penetration with an animal and another of trespassing with the intent to commit a sexual offence.
During the hearing, Ogeare appeared wearing a black coat and a sherpa hat. He had previously denied the charges at an earlier court appearance.
