He was advice by the medical team to stay out from football and continue to take things slowly for another six months.

Sergio kun Aguero told TYC Sports: “Yesterday, it crossed my mind that I could play again. Inter Miami called me but I refused“.

In two years? Let’s see. The doctors told me that I have to spend five or six months without activity, but I already want to train again.”

It was a heartbreaking decision for him to be forced into and his emotion was clearly visible with tears during his announcement.

The former City star said at a time: “It is a very difficult moment. The decision I have made I have taken for my health, that is the main reason, because of the problem that I had a month and a half ago.

I was in good hands of the medical staff who have done their best and have told me the best thing would be to stop playing. So I made that decision about a week ago and I want to tell everyone I did everything possible to have hope, but there wasn’t very much.”
