Manchester United are ready to offer him yearly wages of €19.7 million (£17m) in order to bring back the five time Ballon d’Or winner to Old Trafford.

However, Pursuing Ronaldo has become a problem for United for some years now. It is believe the player isn’t willing go back to England.

On the other end, PSG’s interest in Ronaldo depends on the future of French star Kylian Mbappe who is believe to be on his way out to Real Madrid. The Ligue 1 club will make a move for Ronaldo if they fail to tie the 22 year old to a new contract.

According to reports, Ronaldo is ready to leave Italy this summer after refusing to commit his long-term future to the Turin club, but will wait for the right offer.

He currently earns €31 million (£27m) whiles Manchester United are willing to pay him yearly wages of €19.7 million (£17m), which means Ronaldo will have to accept a pay cut if he wants to move to United this summer but the player remains hopeful that an offer closer to his current earnings will arrive.

Another possibility for Manchester United is a potential player swap that involves Paul Pogba moving in the other direction, if a deal can be agreed. The Frenchman’s future in Manchester remains uncertain with the midfielder yet to extend his contract.

Real Madrid and Sporting Lisbon have also been mentioned as potential destinations but they are all not  financial capable at the moment to land the Portuguese star man.

Ronaldo is currently with Portugal at the European Championships. He made it clear that his focus is on the national team with any decision on his future likely to happen after the competition concludes.
