The famous rapper Medikal has given an explanation for why, on Friday, May 3, 2024, he performed at the O2 Indigo in London alongside his ex-girlfriend Sister Derby.
The sight of Sister Derby sharing the stage with Medikal caught the audience at the sold-out concert off guard.
This generated discussions online, with some people thinking he’s doing it to spite Fella Makafui, his ex-wife.
However, Medikal stated that it wasn’t a spiteful move in an interview with UTV.
In order to give the audience a taste of what they saw on television and the internet, he revealed that he had a song with Sister Derby and encouraged her to sing with her.
We have a song together, her and I. I wanted the public to feel as though they were watching my music videos and Snapchat. We had to perform for the sake of letting someone know that they might have listened to something too unsafe. I had no intention of proving anything. All I wanted was for my supporters to have fun,” he declared.

Medikal Real name Samuel Frimpong Adu teamed up with Ghanaian musicians Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, Amakye Dede, and Kuami Eugene & KiDi to plan their individual performances at the O2 Indigo.
