Medikal, Kalybos, Guru, Akrobeto, and others attend Lilwin’s sold-out ‘A Country Called Ghana’ premiere

The much awaited premiere of Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lilwin’s film “A Country Called Ghana,” was a resounding success, with every seat reserved. 

On Friday, May 17, 2024, a glittering array of Nigerian and Ghanaian celebrities, including Medikal, Kalybos, Guru, and Akrobeto, attended the spectacular event held at the National Theatre. 

Awilo Sharp Sharp, Ahuofe Patri, David Osei, D Cryme, and Kofi Akpaloo, the head of the Liberal Party of Ghana [LPG], were among the other well-known figures and celebrities who attended the event.

The presence of these A-list celebrities at the event was definitely outstanding. Speaking with GhanaWeekend during the event, attendees commended Lilwin for organising such a well-received premiere.

 “A Country Called Ghana” is a joint project by Ghana and Nigeria, created and directed by Lilwin and Fiifi Gha bin. Awilo Sharp Sharp, Victor Osuagwu, Lilwin, Sweet Mimi, PAA George, Charles Awurum, Ramsey Nouah, and other great African performers are among those who appear in it.

The remaining premieres take place on May 25 at the KNUST CCB Auditorium in Kumasi and on June 1, 2024, at the Eubsett Hotel in Sunyani.
