Megan Thee Stallion has taken a significant legal step by filing a restraining order against rapper Tory Lanez, who is currently serving a 10-year sentence in California.
The 29-year-old rapper claims that Lanez has continued to harass her from behind bars, orchestrating a campaign of psychological torment aimed at damaging her reputation.
According to TMZ, Megan filed the restraining order on Tuesday, detailing months of distress caused by Lanez, who was convicted of shooting her in the feet during a violent incident in 2020.
The rapper alleges that Lanez has been using prison phone calls to collaborate with bloggers, including Elizabeth Milagro Cooper, to spread defamatory falsehoods about her.
Megan’s legal team has presented evidence they claim shows a “conspiratorial relationship” between Lanez and Cooper, who was allegedly paid for her role in the smear campaign.
Financial records reportedly show that payments of $3,000 were made between 2020 and 2022 to Cooper for her involvement in the harassment.
Additionally, the filing highlights conversations between Lanez and his father, discussing ways to amplify baseless accusations against Megan.

The harassment has had a profound effect on Megan, leading her to claim that she has become deeply depressed and distanced from her friends.
In her filing, she is seeking a legal order to stop Lanez from continuing the psychological warfare, whether directly or through others.
Megan has long been outspoken about the damage caused by the misinformation and harassment directed at her.
She previously filed a lawsuit against Cooper in October 2023, accusing the blogger of spreading false information and even distributing a deepfake pornographic video of Megan, which her attorney argues violates Florida law.
Megan’s statement on the matter emphasized the need to hold those spreading lies accountable.
“It’s unacceptable behavior, and these individuals need to understand there will be repercussions for recklessly posting lies and defamatory falsehoods,” she said.
