Michelle Williams and her husband, director Thomas Kail, have quietly expanded their family. The 44-year-old actress recently welcomed her fourth child, her third with Kail.
The couple, who have been spotted around their New York neighborhood, welcomed the baby via surrogate six weeks ago.
“They couldn’t be happier to expand their family, and Matilda has been doting on her younger siblings,” a source said.
Williams, who shares daughter Matilda, 18, with her late partner Heath Ledger, is also mom to son Hart, 4, and another child born in 2022 with Kail.

The actress has been focusing on her family life since a brief work hiatus following the success of The Fabelmans. However, she is returning to the spotlight with her new limited series Dying for Sex, set to debut on Hulu on April 4.
In January 2023, Williams reflected on balancing her career and motherhood, particularly after welcoming her third baby.
“My heart obviously belongs to my children; they tug at it the most,” she shared with Entertainment Weekly.
“But I really want to be able to have both. And I think that it requires deep thought and learning and the support of other women to figure out how to get through it.”
