In a heart-wrenching case of a missing teenager, 14-year-old Emmarae Gervasi, who had been missing since December 8, 2024, was found alive on January 3, 2025, after being missing for 26 days.
Her father, Frank Gervasi, received a tip that led him to a boat in a canal in Islip, New York, where he discovered his daughter.
Emmarae was last seen leaving her home in East Patchogue, New York, on December 8 to retrieve something from the driveway.
Her father believed that she was taken against her will, sparking an intensive search.

During the weeks following her disappearance, Frank tirelessly searched for his daughter, offering a $15,000 reward and conducting constant drives around the area in hopes of finding her.
The breakthrough came when a woman provided him with a tip, directing him to the boat where Emmarae was found.
Authorities confirmed that Emmarae was located safely but did not disclose additional details about her condition or the circumstances of her disappearance.
A man has been arrested in connection with the case, but further information is being withheld as investigations continue.
Frank Gervasi expressed both relief and heartbreak as he reunited with his daughter, describing the past 26 days as “hell.”
