Mohamed Salah, the Egyptian forward and Liverpool superstar, has confirmed that this season will be his final one with the club.
In an exclusive interview with Sky News on January 3, Salah revealed that he expects to leave Liverpool at the end of the current campaign.
When asked if this was his final season with the Reds, Salah responded, “So far? Yes. It’s the last six months.”
He added that there has been no significant progress in contract discussions, which left the future uncertain.
Salah’s comments came as a clear signal that, unless circumstances change, his time at Anfield is drawing to a close.
Despite the looming end of his Liverpool career, Salah has his sights set on finishing strong.
He expressed his desire to win another Premier League title before his departure, saying, “I want to win the Premier League with Liverpool. It’s my last year in the club, so you want to do something special for the city.”
Salah joined Liverpool from Roma in 2017 and has since become one of the club’s greatest players.

At 32 years old, Salah’s current contract runs until June 2025, but it seems increasingly likely that he will depart before that time.
