Africa’s most decorated rapper, Ghana’s very own rap star, Sarkodie, returns with brand new music titled “Otan.”

“Otan,” released on Thursday, December 7, 2023, a few hours before the official release, the rapper, born with his legal name Michael Owusu Addo took to his verified social media handles, where he made the special announcement by sharing the artwork for the project.

In “Otan,” Sarkodie reflects on his journey and the challenges he has faced, particularly dealing with people who pretend to be supportive but harbor hate or resentment. The song delves into the theme of facing negativity and overcoming challenges in the pursuit of one’s goals.

This new musical project by the multiple award-winning rapper serves as a follow-up tune to his previously released banger, ‘Till We Die’, which features Nigerian singer Ruger on it [listen here].
