Little Kumawood actor Mohammed Boniface, commonly known as Kompany, has recounted the terrible tale of how his drug addiction decimated his career.
Even though his coworkers wanted to see him succeed, Kompany thinks he was distracted by other issues and was unable to focus on developing his profession.
In a conversation with blogger Osei Kwadwo Ambassador, he recalled that:

“I was so lucky to get some celebrities like Nana Ama McBrown who was eager to help me in the industry but I was lazy and stubborn because of my addiction to drugs.
“I have regretted all the bad decisions I took at the peak of my career and it is all because I chose friends and drugs over my career,” he added.
He claims that because so many of his fans were committed to seeing him succeed, he has grown to regret his choices.
“It got to a point my godmother Nana Ama McBrown will call me for a movie shoot but I will not get time to go because I chose my friends and drugs over acting,” he iterated.

Kompany asserts that he has struggled because, in the past, he was so arrogant that he frittered away what little money he had.
He is now dependent on the kindness of his followers and coworkers to support his blind mother, who urgently needs surgery.
Kompany claimed that if he could go back in time, he wouldn’t have turned down any of them if given the chance.
“If I have the opportunity to change time and destiny, I would have grabbed all the wasted opportunities but since I don’t have that power, I have stayed away from all bad friends to focus on life.
“I want to take this opportunity to apologize to Nana Ama Mcbrown and all the industry players to forgive me because I know my actions hurt the majority of them,” he stated emphatically.
