Popular, and controversial Nigerian singer, Naira Marley has disclosed he is a lover of Ghanaian music and also has plans of signing some Ghanaian artistes.
The popular musician who is born with his legal name Azeez Fashola is currently in Ghana to promote his newly released song/album.
In a recent interview on Accra-bassed radio station Hitz FM, the Malian president told the host, Andy Dosty that he is a very big fan of Ghanaian music when asked if he actually listens to music made from Ghana.

According to him, he does listen to music made in Ghana, explaining that he likes listening to the one ones and also blending with the new age he added that the new ones in the Ghanaian music industry are also doing well and that he loves listening to some of them as well.
Speaking on the new crop of Ghanaian musical talent, Naira Marley louded Highly Spiritual singed singer, Lasmid as one of his favorites, he also expressed his interest in signing him as well as other young Ghanaian talents.
He said.
“I love Ghanaian music and I used to listen to the old ones and the new ones are good too. I am trying to sign a couple of the new Ghanaian artistes. One of such is Lasmid. Conversations about Ghana is all about Ghanaian artistes shooting nice videos and moving out of their comfort zones.”
Sika hitmaker, Lasmid is currently in the trends and topping various music charts following the release of his newly self-produced song dubbed “Friday Night”.
Friday Night by the singer who won as the winner of TV3’s MTN Hitmaker season 8 was officially released on Friday, June 8, 2022, and since then he has been in the trends as fans express their love for the well-written song.
Naira Marley before the start of the interview presented a package to the host, Andy Dosty containing a whole lot of items including, a condom, a Vibrator, and also his latest album, amongst other things.
