In a shocking and heartbreaking case, a California nanny was caught on camera abusing a two-day-old baby just hours after the newborn came home from the hospital. Watch Video Below.
The disturbing footage was captured by the parents’ baby monitor, showing their daughter, identified only as “Baby H,” being violently shaken, struck, and even thrown across the room by the nanny.
The Bay Area parents, referred to as ‘D’ and ‘T’ to protect their identities, were devastated after reviewing the footage.

They had hired the nanny through a reference on social media and initially trusted her. The father expressed his disbelief, stating, “We all thought we could trust her. Never imagined something like this could happen.”
San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe called the case “extraordinarily serious,” particularly due to the victim’s age.

He emphasized that if the evidence supports the abuse claims, the nanny could face significant prison time.
“Prison is the only answer for someone who would do something such as this repeatedly,” Wagstaffe stated.
“If we can convict them, this person would be going to prison for double-digit years, easily.”
The nanny, who has not been named or charged yet, was hired based on a phone call that seemed promising.
However, the parents noticed what they described as “aggressive behavior” and, after firing the nanny, decided to review the footage. Watch the video below.

The parents now hope that sharing their story will prevent other families from experiencing the same terrifying ordeal.
“My goal is to warn parents about this nanny,” said the mother. “I don’t want any family, baby, or mom to experience this again.”
The case has sent shockwaves through the community, and the parents urge other parents to be cautious when hiring caregivers for their children.
