She said in the interview that she was pleased to know that South Africans celebrated her wedding to Prince Harry, the same way they celebrated the freedom of Nelson ‘Madiba’ Mandela on the streets of SA as he was free from prison after being imprisoned for 27 years.
According to her a south African she interacted with told her this; ‘We rejoiced in the streets the same we did when Mandela was freed from prison.
In an interview with MailOnline, Madiba’s grandson Zwelivelile ‘Mandla’ Mandela expressed amazement at her words.
Surprisingly, she was able to link her wedding to the excitement and celebration that occurred when his grandfather was freed from prison.

“But before people can regard themselves as Nelson Mandelas, they should be looking into the work that he did and be able to be champions and advocates of the work that he himself championed.”
