In a recent episode of The Breakfast Club podcast, Nick Cannon opened up about his experiences attending parties hosted by Sean “Diddy” Combs, as the music mogul faces serious legal issues, including federal charges of sex trafficking and racketeering.
Cannon, now 44, revealed that he attended one of his first Diddy parties as a teenager, stating, “I remember standing outside, trying to get into a Puff party out here in New York” when he was around 16 or 17 years old.
He described these events as legendary gatherings in New York during the late ’90s, reminiscent of scenes from the Notorious B.I.G.’s iconic music video “One More Chance.”
Despite the gravity of Combs’ current situation, Cannon noted that he has never witnessed anything untoward at these gatherings.
“I’ve never seen no wild s–t,” he said, maintaining that he has always remained sober at these events. “I don’t drink, I don’t do drugs; I’ve never been drunk in my life.”
Cannon’s comments come as Combs awaits a trial scheduled for May 2025, facing accusations of orchestrating “Freak Offs,” events where women and male sex workers were allegedly coerced into sexual performances.
These charges follow an indictment that details disturbing claims about the nature of the parties and the environment cultivated by Combs.

In September, prosecutors alleged that Combs’ associates facilitated these gatherings by booking hotel rooms stocked with controlled substances and personal lubricants, including over 1,000 bottles of baby oil seized during raids at his residences in Los Angeles and Miami.
Cannon’s reflections on the parties contrasted sharply with testimonies from others, like comedian Jeff Wittek, who described attending a similar gathering where he witnessed live sexual acts.
Wittek remarked, “It’s just crazy. I was literally there. I lived through it.”
As Combs remains in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, his legal team is working to secure his release on bail, although previous requests have been denied.
Combs’ attorney stated that the music mogul is undergoing treatment and therapy while maintaining a positive outlook despite the serious allegations against him.
With the trial approaching, the public continues to speculate about the potential implications for Combs and the broader entertainment industry, as more individuals come forward with their experiences related to the alleged parties.
