Due to drug possession, well-known singer Nicki Minaj was taken into custody in Amsterdam, Netherlands. According to a statement from the Dutch National Police, Minaj was taken into custody at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport.
Minaj allegedly had some drugs in her bag, which she alleges the authorities removed from her without permission, and that was her offence. Nicki was released shortly after she resorted to social media to protest about being jailed.
Dutch police said on X, “The suspect was fined and can continue her journey after consultation with the Public Prosecution Service.

In other social media posts, Nicki Minaj discussed the event and claimed that her security officer was the owner of the narcotics in one of them.
